to The Old School, Storrington to make a Jelly Roll Quilt!

Choose your quilt

This one  (1)

 or this  one?(2)

speed quilt

You choose which pattern you will make from the 2 above.  We will supply you with the patterns, but you need to get the Jelly Roll. They are available at Chalk Hill Blue, South Farm Road, Worthing; The Eclectic Maker opp West Worthing Station, Worthing and the Eternal Maker in Chichester as well as online.

We do not guarantee you will finish the quilt in a day – so much depends on how much experience you have in sewing, cutting and making quilts but you will be well on your way to completing the top and will understand how to finish it.  The quilts on the left and middle require 20 or so strips of fabric, and the quilt on the right requires the full 40+ that jelly rolls have in them.

It will be a fun day. bring your sewing machine, manual and feet ( ¼” foot) cutting equipment and mat if you have one; spare needles, lots of thread; filled bobbins of the thread you will use and a sandwich for lunch!  Tea/coffee will be provided!
