Applique is one of the those fun techniques that people sometimes find difficult and challenging.  Come to this 2 stage class and crack fusible applique by making both a wall hanging and a table runner!  You will be using fusible webbing and learn the method of fusible placement but, more importantly, you will learn how to machine sew with the right stitch so it looks absolutely super!

The first day you will learn the basics of applique using fusible applique, how to work with it and applying it to fabrics.  It will be ideal for those sewers who are new to applique.  Kits of fabric will be available to buy or you can provide your own – to be arranged with the teacher.

The second day will make the table runner on the right – learning stems for applique and making very small circles (always a challenge). This is an intermediate level of applique and a follow on from the first class. You will need a sewing machine as well.
